Scoring Working Group Discussion

  1. Penalty description list
    We want to standardize the text that is used in the description part of score sheets for describing penalties. The aim thereby is that the penalized competitor and other people looking at the list can find out easily what was wrong by reading a few words. The discussion concentrates on a standardized wording and using more abbreviations. Steve Ireland started with a draft and that will form the basis of the discussion. Feedback at the moment is positive and not controversial.
  2. Weather Information Sheet (WIS)
    The Competition Operation Handbook (COH) has a chapter Weather Information which was still 'open'. We tried to fill the part with information for Meteorological Officers (MO) that describes what we think a MO should do in a HAB competition. It also contains a standardized Weather Information Sheet (WIS). Mathijs de Bruijn made the first draft and feedback at the moment is positive and not controversial.
